Shopping with the fam

A few days ago I took my family shopping at the Sawgrass Mall. There are a lot of sales going on right now so they were very happy. It's so hard to go shopping when it's a group, cause everybody wants to go to a different store and they like to try the clothes on. I'm pretty fast when I go to the mall, I guess I already know where the stores that I like are and what size I wear, so I hardly try stuff on at the store. Going to the mall with my family was an adventure. I'm so in love with my vest!! what do you think? I got it while I visited Venezuela, and every time the temperature drops a little I take it out.
Hace unos dias lleve a mi familia al Sawgrass Mall de compras. Hay muchos descuentos ahora en las tiendas asi que salimos muy contentos de alli. Es super dificil salir de compras en grupo, todos queriamos entrar a tiendas distintas y probarse la ropa, etc. Yo soy super rapida cuando voy al mall, supongo que ya se donde estan las tiendas que me gustan y se la talla que me queda bien, asi que casi nunca me pruebo ropa en la tienda. Asi que ir al mall con la familia fue una aventura. Estoy enamorada de mi chaleco!! Que les parece? Lo compre durante mi visita en Venezuela, cada vez que baja un poquito la temperatura lo saco.

New Year 2012

This is what I wore for New years eve! We celebrated at one of my closest friends' house. I had a really good time, plus I got to see some friends and spend time with the family. I did all those superstitious tricks to get lots of luck for this new year, such as putting some money on your right shoe, eating all the grapes in the last 12 seconds of the year and making a wish per grape, and wearing yellow panties for good luck. The food was delicious and the dessert was out of this world!! (I baked the dessert) hehe! I made some crack pie and a 3 leches.
Esto es lo que use para el ano nuevo! Lo celebramos en casa de una de mis amigas mas cercanas. La pase divino, ademas de que pude ver a unas amigas y pasar tiempo con mi familia. Hice todas esas supersticiones que suelen hacer para la llegada de ano nuevo, como ponerse un billete en el zapato derecho, comerse las 12 uvas con las 12 campanadas y pedir un deseo con cada una de ellas, y usar una pantaletita amarilla para a suerte. La comida estuvo deliciosa y los postres fuera de este mundo!! (yo fui quien se encargo del postre hehe!) Prepare un crack pie y un 3 leches.

Merry Christmas to all!!

Merry Christmas everybody!!! I hope you had a nice time and received lots of presents. For the first time we hosted the Christmas Eve Dinner at our house, we had a great meal and played Dirty Santa (White Elephant) with the family. I'll be submitting soon a post with all of my little treats for Christmas. It's been a bit hectic over here since I've been working a lot and my family arrived in town, so I haven't been able to post much lately. The last picture is my dog Kanon with his new sweater :-)
Feliz Navidad para todos!! Espero que la hayan pasado bien y hayan recibido muchos regalitos. Por primera vez celebramos la Cena de Navidad en nuestra casa, tuvimos una cena deliciosa y jugamos Dirty Santa (Elefante blanco) con la familia. Pronto tendre un post con todos los regalitos que recibi en Navidad. He estado muy ocupada entre trabajo y que mi familia llego a la casa por lo cual no he podido postear mucho.
